Map of Kurdistan.

Astronism in Kurdistan refers to the presence of the Astronist religion in the disputed territory of Kurdistan and among the Kurdish people, as part of the worldwide Astronist Institution.

Astro-Kurdish philosophy, or Kurdish Astronism, refers to the presence of Astronism in Kurdish majority territories. These territories are under management and philosophical jurisdiction of The Institution of The Philosophy of Millettism for the Kurdish Peoples, which is under direct authority of other Institutional subsidiaries of Astronism, within whose territory Kurdish peoples reside. The Institution of the Philosophy of Millettism for the Kurdish Peoples oversees the construction and maintenance of observatories and planetariums throughout its jurisdiction. The Institution of the Philosophy of Millettism for the Kurdish Peoples also resides over the construction and maintenance of the Kurd’s only Grand Observatory, which is set to be situated in Erbil, in the Republic of Iraq.   This national branch of The Institution of The Philosophy of Millettism manages the official representation and depiction of Astronism throughout this territory, including efforts to protect the identity of the philosophy with the intention of further disseminating it throughout the territory. It is The Institution alone that is granted the status of proprietor to the philosophy in this territory as any other organisations or institutions proclaiming such a role are deemed as unauthorised proprietors and are therefore considered as part of the anti-Institutionist movement. History of Astronism in Kurdistan. As of November 2019, no reliable data has been provided regarding the Astronist population among the Kurdish people.
