Philosophical religion, often also referred to as a rationalistic religion, or a logical religion, is a type of designation for a belief system that identifies as both a philosophy and religion, and can be considered as a synthesis. A philosophical religion shares aspects of both philosophy, such as rational thought and an adherence to logic, and religion, such as practices, a governing organisation, and a set of central beliefs.
